I came to be involved with TIG for networking purposes, sharing experiences and learning about other cultures and I must say I have not been disappointed. TIG has helped me attain those goals and meet people of different backgrounds, cultures etc and this has taught me tolerance and acceptance. So I believe TIG can help you achieve some of one's goals. The issue that matters to me most is development. I am from a very poor community where only some have the opportunity to go to school and others are left with no direction. Yet, I was fortunate enough to attend University and after the completion of my studies I immediately started to create my own development projects.
